Competitive work should be sent in a way which allow the competitive committee to a fair evaluation of the work Detailed regulations of the competition: §1 The Program and Organizing Committee of the Congress of Young IT Scientists 5th edition announce the competition for the work on the topic: “Cyber-crime and the ways of preventing it in the information systems”. §2 - In the competition can partake the persons which are under 35 years old.2.
- The deadline for enrolment is on 31st of August 2010.
- The works will be evaluated by the Competitive Committee. The members of Competitive Committee will be chosen from the scientific and practical environment.
- By the evaluation the novelty of the solution, substantial level, deepened analysis of the phenomena bounded with security and practical aspects will be taken into account.
§3 1. The application of a work to the competition requires: - submission of complete documentation of proposed solution - the submission of work doesn’t require concealing the authors personality, §4 - The works qualified by Competitive Committee will be presented during the Congress of Young IT Scientists 2010. The costs of accommodation and participation in the Congress for authors of these works will be covered by Organizing Committee. The author of the best solution will be awarded with a netbook. There is possibility for the Competitive Committee to make the decision to not give the prize.
- In case of winning the author doesn’t lose the copyright for his work.
§5 1. The results of the competition and prize giving ceremony will be held during the Congress of Young IT Scientists 5th edition ,which will take place on 23 – 25 Semptember 2010 in Międzyzdroje §6 Regulations of Competitive Committee: - The Competitive Committee is appointed by Program and Organizing Committee of Congress of Young IT Scientists 2010
- The Competitive Committee has a President, Secretary and 3 members.
- The Committee’s members’ names are public.
- The Competitive Committee can decide not to give the first prize.
- A verdict of the Committee is definitive.
